DappledI couldn't always get the picture I wanted but I was fascinated by the play of light as it reflected on the buildings. It danced and glowed and constantly drew my eyes upwards.

She was right about the Empire State Building. Completely ridiculous, but the view was worth it. And those cupcakes..... are to die for. I'm still craving them.

I forgot to mention the frozen hot chocolate and it needs mentioning. It deserves mentioning. Like the cupcakes..... to die for.
While (friend) was very interested in the architecture as one should be, I was rather obsessed with my food there. My 2 main priorities while I was there was to find Serendipity (where they serve the frozen hot chocolate) and the Magnolia Bakery (the cupcakes). I'll stop backseat blogging now.
